PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To unnecessitate copy processing of files having overlapped contents, to reduce the load of a server computer and to efficiently and effectively utilize disk capacity. SOLUTION: In a client/server type electronic filing system, with which a document shared by plural client computers is unitarily managed by the server computer, the server computer is provided with a divert content providing means for providing the diverted contents of a second file to the client computer as the contents of the first file of a first document when the contents of the first file contained in the first document are same as the contents of the second file contained in a second document different from the first document. |
