<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized oscillator at a low cost without deteriorating an electric characteristic by reducing the production time, to provide its manufac turing method and a communication unit provided with the oscillator. SOLUTION: The impedance of a line of a resonance circuit formed on a board is measured and a chip component having an impedance value required to obtain a prescribed oscillating frequency is selected in response to the measured impedance and mounted on the board. Then the oscillator oscillated at the prescribed oscillating frequency can be manufactured without the need for trimming the line. Thus, it dies not take much time for the frequency adjustment, a trimming device itself is not required, the electric characteristic due to laser trimming or the like is not deteriorated and the entire oscillator can be downsized because it is not required to provide an electrode land or the like in advance for the frequency adjustment.</p> |
