PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper money storage cassette able to carried develop to close its large aperture to prevent paper money from being taken out through the aperture. SOLUTION: The cassette device which is approximately box-shaped and piles and stores plural paper money and has an aperture through which paper money are to be taken out is provided with at least a shutter which opens/closes the aperture, a means which moves the shutter, a means which locks the shutter at the time when the shutter closes the aperture, a means which releases the lock means.
