PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drain condensed water formed in a main body case and prevent condensed water retained in a duct, rain blown into a duct from the outdoors or the like from falling into a room through the main body case. SOLUTION: A ventilation fan for a duct is provided with a duct joint part 8 in an exhaust opening 7 formed in a side face of the main body case 2, and discharges air sucked through a suction opening 5 of the main body case 2 into the case by rotation of a fan 9 outdoors through the duct joint part 8. The duct joint 8 is provided with a shutter 13 pivoted at its top end, and has a contact face 14 to be disposed in contact with a peripheral part of the shutter 13. A bottom face A extending from the contact face 14 of the joint 8 toward the exhaust opening side 7 is disposed higher than a bottom end of the shutter 13 at the time of being in contact with the contact face 14. Thus, condensed water retained in the duct, rain blown into the duct from outdoors or the like between the bottom face of the shutter in contact with the contact face and the bottom of the contact face is surely prevented from flowing back in-between.
