摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for correcting optical axis deviation of an optical fiber, a method without affecting vertical adjustment of an optical fiber at the adjustment of its horizontal deviation, and also to provide a semiconductor laser module produced by using such method. SOLUTION: In the semiconductor laser module 1, in which a semiconductor laser light source 7 and a holding plate 9 are fixed on a base, in which a fiber holding member 11 equipped with a fiber holder 21 is fixed on the holding plate 9, and in which an optical fiber 10 is fixed on the fiber holder of the fiber holding member; the upper face of the base and the periphery of the holding plate are laser-welded in-between, and, while the holding plate is horizontally moved by the contraction of the welding part, the horizontal position of the inputting end of the optical fiber is adjusted relative to the optical axis of the laser beam from the semiconductor laser light source. These are the characteristics of the method for correcting the optical axis deviation of an optical fiber.
