PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accurate and inexpensive image processing system which is applied to a color copying machine, etc. SOLUTION: This image processing system includes a 1st decision step to input the image data, to carry out the block selection to the image data for deciding the pixel types included in the image data and to decide whether the attentional pixel data show the text pixels according to the block selection processing, a 2nd decision step to decide whether the attentional pixel data show the edge pixels and a step to carry out the 1st processing to an attentional pixel when this pixel shows both text and edge pixels and to carry out the 2nd processing to the attentional pixel when this pixel does not show a text pixel nor an edge pixel. |
