PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the memory of an image processing circuit. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a color correction part 19 which processes inputted pixel data in order, memories A, B and C which are provided in the pre-stage of the color correction part 19 and stores the pixel data, an area decision part which obtains the feature quantity of an image area consisting of pieces of pixel data, and an MTF correction part 23 which processes the pixel data processed by the color correction part 19 according to the obtained feature value. The memories A, B and C are provided in the pre-stage of the color correction part 19, so the memories are less than memories which would be provided in the post-stage of the color correction part 19.
