PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus where functions that are already set can always be informed precisely without requiring an operation of a confirming button or any changeover of a picture accompanying it and thus evading an interruption of a function setting operation to improve work efficiency, and to provide method of its control. SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus, a confirmation display range B concerning a state of setting of each function is displayed on a touch panel type display 5 of a control panel 4 and confirmation display data B1, B2,... indicating functions that are already set are displayed in the confirmation display range B in the order of their setting. |
