PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized diode switch with an excellent electric characteristic, and to provide a method for switching the switch. SOLUTION: This diode switch, which is connected to 1st, 2nd and 3rd circuits to switch the connection between the 1st and 3rd circuits and the connection between the 2nd and 3rd circuits, is provided with a 1st diode whose cathode is connected to the 1st circuit and whose anode is connected to the 3rd circuit, a 1st transmission line connected to the cathode of the 1st diode, a 2nd transmission line connected between the 3rd and 2nd circuits, and a 2nd diode whose cathode is connected to the 2nd circuit and whose anode is connected to ground via a capacitor.
