PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a database storing capacity and to improve database access performance by unnecessitating storing of information required for data mapping into the database and defining of a unique index in data linkage between different databases. SOLUTION: This database processing system is provided with a data mapping file 123 where the set of physical storage information on data in a linking source database 112 and physical storage information on the data in a linking destination database 122 is registered. When the database 112 is updated, update information added with the physical storage information in the database 112 is obtained. Based on the physical storage information of the updated information, the physical storage information in the database 122 is obtained from the file 123 to access, the database 122.
