PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a standby power saving unit in which power can be saved without damaging a remote control function for turning power on/off. SOLUTION: The standby power saving unit comprises a human body sensor, and a control means provided on a network and delivering a control signal for turning on/off the main power supply of at least one of a plurality of electric apparatus connected through the network in response to an output from the human body sensor.
