<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent color filter without color mixing between cells and a method of manufacturing the color filter, an image display device using the color filter and to be used for a color liquid crystal display, a color video camera, an image scanner, a personal computer or the like, or an image input device (including an image pickup device) used for a CCD(charge coupled device) or the like. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the color filter which comprises ejecting ink with an inkjet method and dyeing the color filter supporting substrate having a part for a black matrix and a part for pixel formation with the ink, the method for manufacturing the color filter is characterized by dyeing the substrate with various kinds of inks in order of specific gravity starting from the smallest.</p> |
