PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make toner empty of a developing device possible to be correctly detected by a sensor provided with the same property of sensitivity, and to prevent erroneous mounting of the developing device, irrespective of color property of toner. SOLUTION: This developing device, provided with a container 202 containing the toner adopted for an image formation and a detecting part 214 in a projecting shape for detecting the toner quantity in the container 202 by the sensor, being disposed in a wall surface of this container 202, is making at least, any one of property such as color of the toner, or the property of such as sensibility of a sensor in accordance with the property of such as a projecting shape of a detecting part 214, a size, or a position of a detecting part 214 differed. |
