PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system that can measure bit error rate. SOLUTION: This invention provides the communication system, where a transmitter and a receiver make communication, is characterized by providing a transmitter 100, that transmits a part of an inspection signal with a period by each prescribed bit length by adding it to a prescribed position of a transmission frame and a receiver 200 that receives a frame, corresponding to the transmission frame and measures the number of bit errors.
