PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-aqueous secondary battery which is superior in high rate discharge characteristics and which is safe in a short circuit. SOLUTION: In a non-aqueous secondary battery, which is packaged by an outer package, there are provided electrode groups consisting of a positive electrode forming positive electrode mixture layer containing a positive electrode active material in at least one part of a positive electrode current collector, a negative electrode forming negative electrode mixture layer containing a negative electrode active material at least in one part of a negative electrode current collector, and separators intervening between the positive electrode and the negative electrode. The non-aqueous secondary battery is constituted by containing flake-formed metal in at least one of the positive electrode mixture layer or the negative electrode mixture layer. As the flake-formed metal, at least one kind of a metal selected among a group of aluminum, nickel, cobalt, copper, chromium, iron, titanium and stainless steel is preferable. |
