PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deterioration of recording and reproducing precision caused by variations of vibrations from an external part and the relative positional relation between recording media, in an optical pickup device which records and reproduces information by utilizing a holography. SOLUTION: The optical pickup device 11 is provided with a pickup main body 12 which records information to the optical information recording medium 1 and reproduces information from the optical information recording medium 1 by utilizing the holography and a position adjusting device which adjusts the position of the pickup main body 12 in order to correct the deviation of the relative positional relation between the pickup main body 12 and the optical information recording medium 1. The position of the pickup main body 12 is changed by the position adjusting device in the direction orthogonal to the surface of the optical information recording medium 1, in the direction parallel to the surface of the optical information recording medium 1 and in the direction that the tilt of the pickup main body 12 to the surface of the optical information recording medium 1 is changed. |
