PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the load on a network by eliminating duplication of data delivery. SOLUTION: A server which provides three-dimensional model data preliminarily prepares a fundamental model Sn consisting of a polygon having a minimum number n of apexes required for representation (or plotting) of a three- dimensional model and apex data m0, m1, m2, etc., to be successively added to the fundamental model. A client who requests model data repeats a data addition request in the order of the fundamental model Sn and data m0, m1, m2, etc., until obtaining a three-dimensional model having a quality which the client requests. The server charges the client a charge for using contents corresponding to the number of finally provided apexes. |
