PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording material which ensures a sufficient image density and has so improved image preservability as to prevent the deterioration of a minute image due to color stain and color blur after image formation. SOLUTION: The optical recording material is (1) an optical recording material obtained by disposing a photosensitive layer containing microcapsules including a polymerizable monomer, a photopolymerization initiator and a coloring material, a middle layer and an image receiving layer in this order on a base or (2) an optical recording material comprising a photosensitive material with a photosensitive layer containing microcapsules including a polymerizable monomer, a photopolymerization initiator and a coloring material on a base and an image receiving material with an image receiving layer on a base and having a middle layer on the photosensitive layer or on the image receiving layer. |
