PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the memory design support method and device which facilitates design of a semiconductor memory and also can reduce the man-hour and cost by evading the redundant trouble. SOLUTION: A work history is analyzed for specifying unchanged and changed files in regard to the manual jobs of a worker and the difference information is extracted between both files. On the basis of this difference information, the contents of process of manual jobs of the worker are produced as a new work process module that is registered in a module library and then used in the subsequent work processes.
