PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a service provision maintaining method and a distributed object system using the same, with which the provision of a service can be maintained even when a fault or the like occurs in an object to provide the relevant service. SOLUTION: Concerning the service provision maintaining method for the service to be provided by each of objects operated on plural distributively located controllers, the state of the service provided by the object is monitored and when the service provided by the first object is stopped, the provision of the service is substituted by the second object.
