PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multimedia information communication system capable of reporting various information such as identification information of a caller previously by voice without any overlapped call after the call of the caller is transferred. SOLUTION: The multimedia information communication system is provided with a function converting identification information on the caller and information associated with it and data on a call content into sound, a function selecting required sound from the sounds and a function transmitting the converted sound and the sound recorded by the sound. Thus, various pieces of information on the caller can previously be heard before a transfer processing is performed, it can easily be judged from whom the telephone call is given and the course of the call can be grasped. Thus, a user can immediately start important business in the call after transfer and the call can efficiently be made.
