PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast receiver which displays no picture when a digital radio broadcast is received. SOLUTION: This receiver is equipped with a setting means which makes a user to previously set whether or not a picture is displayed on a screen when a digital radio broadcast is received and a control means which disallows the screen display when a digital radio broadcast is received while the setting for displaying no picture on the screen is enabled.
