Wall or floor coating comprising a number of layers (2, 3, 4). One or more of the layers (2) is made of compact disks placed adjacent to each other. The spaces between the disks are filled with plastic, resin or lacquer. An Independent claim is made for a method for producing a wall or floor coating using CD-ROMs.
