The table or kitchen cutlery holder is designed for attachment to a container, such as a dish or basin. It comprises an attachment device (2) which can be push-fitted onto the vertical rim of a dish, and a retaining arm (5), extending into the dish, and essentially parallel to the attachment device, to provide a tangential holding slot. The device is essentially integrally formed, and may be made of rigid, non-elastic material, or material with a very small degree of flexibility, e.g. plastics or spring steel.
