Automatic translation of information for supporting the development of the Global market has proved to be excessively cost-intensive and demanding on technical equipment. Translation computers equipped with translation software are now used initially to prepare the transmission of digitalized information to a service provider computer serving as a translation center. Text pattern recognition programs are used to differentiate the digitalized transmission contents into text information and other information, followed by subsequent combining of translated text information and other fax information, prior to sending the complete contents in digitalized form the selected receivers.
