At the top and bottom ends of a lamp bulb (2) there are two connector wires (3a,3b) fed through a stem press (4a,4b). A base cap (5) and retaining clip (6) have U-shaped dents (6a). The retaining clip connects at its top end to a first connector wire (3a) by a spot weld joint. The retaining clip's bottom end and the second connector wire (3b) are fed through the base cap and connected to a flexible connector lead (7) by a welded joint. |
