Method and receiver for receiving Digital Audio Broadcast (DAB)

A method of receiving and decoding a coded signal for a digital broadcast includes the steps of: performing steps (1) and (2) below by sequentially changing a frequency of a coded signal to be received within a predetermined frequency range; (1) judging whether a received coded signal is decodable by examining whether the received coded signal satisfies a predetermined condition, and (2) decoding the received coded signal only when the received coded signal is judged to be decodable; and relaxing the predetermined condition and repeating the step of performing.
