The invention relates to a connecting device to be soldered to circuit boards for connection of an electrical conductor, comprising a rectangle in an electrically conducting material with at least one recess and longitudinal groove formed in the upper surface thereof, into which the conductor can be pressed. An insulation on the conductor is cut by the sides of the groove on pressing said conductor into the groove whereby a contact is made possible. The invention further relates to a method for production of the inventive connecting device in small and large numbers, as well as a device for attaching the conductor to a connecting device.
