<p>A small number of subcarriers are assigned to an access channel while a large number of subcarriers are assigned to a traffic channel. As a result the frequency utilization efficiency is improved. Users are divided into groups, and the access channel of each group is assigned to each subcarrier. Therefore the reception band is narrowed, the reception processing is reduced, the power consumption is decreased, and the battery power is saved.</p> |
