<p>The invention discloses a new kind of human helix-loop-helix protein 17 and the polynucleotide encoding said polypeptide and a process for producing the polypeptide by recombinant methods. It also discloses the method of applying the polypeptide for the treatment of various kinds of diseases, such as muscle disease, immune disease, different kinds of tumors, embryonic development disorder, inflammation, hemopathy, HIV infection. The antagonist of the polypeptide and therapeutic use of the same is also disclosed. In addition, it refers to the use of polynucleotide encoding said human helix-loop-helix protein 17.</p> |
