<p>A gas flow control valve and attachment to a gas manifold for controlling the flow of gas to at least one gas burner. The valve body (4) includes a first orifice (5) for inlet of gas from a tubular manifold (2), the manifold (2) having an outlet (18). The valve body (4) has a second orifice (6) for outlet of gas to a burner, via nozzle (11). The valve body (4) includes a rotating plug valve (9) held in by a cap (7). The valve body (4) is held to the manifold by clip (20) acting with groove (23) in the valve body (4), and the cap (7) is held to the valve body (4) by a clip (12) acting with the groove (16) at the other end of the valve body. Alternatively, a different configuration of clip (20) can hold the valve body (4), with screws holding the cap (7) to the valve body (4). The valve body (4) is sealed against the manifold outlet (18) (by an o-ring) such that neither the valve body (4) nor plug (9) project into the gas manifold (2).</p> |
