<p>A display body (102) comprises a large light-guide sheet (140) having one surface, on which a large number of display elements (14) are fixedly arranged, for example, in a matrix. A transparent substance (130) with a controlled refractive index is interposed at least between the large light-guide sheet (140) and the display element (14). The refractive index of the substance (130) is preferably as close as possible to the refractive index of the large light-guide sheet (140). In order to introduce light to the display element (14) efficiently and to save power consumption, the transmittance of the substance (130) to perpendicular light of a wavelength in the visible region is preferably greater than 50%, more preferably greater than 70%.</p> |
