Treated manganese ore, process for producing the same, and use thereof.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treated manganese ore for use in production of manganese sulfate, high in manganese solubility when dissolving in sulfuric acid and low in a potassium content; and to provide a method of easily and economically producing the same.

SOLUTION: The treated manganese ore for producing manganese sulfate has the manganese solubility of ≥98.0% when dissolving in sulfuric acid. The method of producing the same is also provided.
