<p>A method for controlling a power supply is provided. The method includes sensing a total current output by the power supply and sensing a charging current drawn from the power supply by a back-up power source. When the charging current exceeds a selected limit, a signal is provided to reduce the output voltage of the power supply. When the total current of the power supply exceeds a selected limit, a signal is provided to reduce the output voltage of the power supply.</p> |
