Disclosed herein is a silver ion-containing solution in which highly pure silver having a purity of more than 99.9 % is ionized by electrolysis in non-mineral distilled water. The silver ion concentration is more than 2 ppm. The silver ion-containing solution may further comprise a desired amount of adhesive, which was added to the silver ion-containing solution and mixed with the silver ion-containing solution by stirring. With respect to use of the silver ion-containing solution, it can be coated or applied on articles requiring bactericidal and antibacterial functions, and dried, thereby imparting the bactericidal and antibacterial functions to the articles. |
