<p>The outputs from three detectors (2) are fed to an input memory (3). The detectors measure actual values of pre-determined parameters relating to the aircraft. Data from the memory is used by an electronic calculator (5), together with data from two other memories (9, 10), one (9) which holds pre-determined aircraft certification and one (10) which holds thrust data and data input by the pilot. The calculator uses a four stage algorithm to produce safe speed figures for variety of circumstances.</p> |
