Lightweight plank for scaffolding has a hollow metal construction with a corrugated insert profile

A lightweight metal plank for flooring, e.g. for scaffolding floors, is made from two interlocking skins and a corrugated insert (7). The insert has regularly spaced profiles which contact the inside faces of the plank and whose edges clip over the edges of the interlocking skins to form a self supporting structure. The plank is secured by hooks which grip into holes spaced along the ends of the plank.
