<p>A protection device in event of pipe rupture comprises a main valve and a controller. The main valve has a valve body, a valve core in the body and a valve stem connected to the core. The controller contains a cylinder, a piston in the cylinder, a controlling rod connected to the piston and a sensor for flow rate. The rod is transmissibly connected to the stem. The device can automatically close pipeline in event of downstream pipe rupture to prevent fluid leak.</p> |
