[Also in Division A4] A frame includes a member 31 which is secured to a bar 8, formed with undercut channels 6, by means of a spring-pressed plunger 33 which is retracted by an eccentric portion 39 of a rotatable pin 34 so as to grip a part of the bar 8 between a T-head 44 on the plunger and the end surface 36 of the member 31. At least one end of the pin 34 is screw-threaded. In a modification, two bars 8 are connected together by arranging a plunger 33 within the bore 5 of one of the bars. Two or three mitre-ended bars may be connected by angle or T-shaped members provided with plungers.</p> |
