Variable speed-AC motor operated by frequency converter

The motor has a memory component in which motor data relevant to the frequency converter are placed and the converter has a data evaluation unit connected to the motor via a data line for reading the motor data from the memory component. The motor can be a servomotor with a rotor position sensor whose data line is used for communications between the motor memory and the evaluation unit.
