Method for updating call transfer destinations in a communication network

The method involves updating call switch targets in a communications network, whereby a call switch target for a second subscriber connection (C11 C2) forming a starting point of a call switch, is changed through an user input at a first subscriber connection (S1, S2), and is stored as call switch information (RUI) in an associated memory (STSl, STS2) along with the starting point of the call switch. The stored call switch information is sent to a control unit (CTRL) which is associated with the second subscriber connection. The control unit tests, whether a call switch indicated through the call switch information is already provided, and a call switch is constructed, accordingly.
