<p>The present invention concerns a medicament or diagnostic agent which is expressed only at regions of obstructed blood flow, such as artherosclerotic plaque, since the gene coding for the medicament or diagnostic agent is under the expression control of the Tie-1 promoter. The invention also concerns a medicament, or diagnostic moiety agent which is targeted to regions of obstruction of blood flow due to binding the medicament or diagnostic moiety and agent such as anti-Tie-1 antibody which can specifically target them to the Tie-1 product.</p> |
