A seat (eg bench seat 100), bed or picture, has a surface comprising a layer of solid particles such as pebbles 105, beads or balls superimposed on a layer of resilient material, eg foam plastics 104, which may be encased in waterproof material. The surface may be supported in a frame 101 which for outdoor use may have drainage holes. A seat may include a backrest having a similar surface. The frame may be adapted for hanging on a wall. |
