The invention concerns two nucleic acid sequences comprising at least a phage-resistance mechanism, characterised in that they consist of: a) the DNA sequences having chain formations of nucleic acids [SEQ ID No 1] and [SEQ ID No 2]; b) the DNA sequences hybridising with the above sequences or fragments thereof; c) the corresponding mRNA and cDNA sequences. The invention is applicable to: bacteria, in particular phage-resistant lactic acid bacteria.
