PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bending device for an endoscope that can prevent a wire guide pipe for guiding a bending control wire in an insertion part from being permanently set in a bent position even when bent irregularly with a small radius of curvature, and can permit a small outside diameter free of oppression onto the other internal members. SOLUTION: Wire guide pipes 10 for curve control wires 9 are formed from a superelastic alloy pipe throughout the length.
