PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing prepreg whereby generation of lenticulation of the thinner prepreg produced by use of base materials of 0.06 mm or less in thickness can be controlled. SOLUTION: A method of producing the prepreg of 65 percentage by mass or more in resin contents by impregnating the base material 1 of 0.06 mm or less in thickness with resin varnish 2, and then by making it semi-hardened through a drying process. In impregnating the base materials 1 with the resin varnish 2, an ingress angleθof the base materials 1 into the resin varnish 2 is arranged between 30 deg. and 40 deg. to a liquid face of the resin varnish 2.
