PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woven/knit fabric made of combined filament yarn having dry touch, excellent water-absorbing/sweat-treating properties, dry feeling, soft touch and draping properties to be brought about by alkaline treatment, and good color developing properties due to polymer modification. SOLUTION: This woven/knit fabric made of the combined filament yarn has a water-absorbing characteristic of >=30 mm which is measured by the Byalik method (according to JIS L1096) and a diffusion rate of <=15 sec which is measured by the dropping method (according to the same), wherein the combined filament yarn comprises at least two kinds of filament yarns of which the one has a cross-sectional shape not having any concavity and of which the other has a cross-sectional shape having 3-8 concavities so that the above filament yarns having different cross-sectional shapes are each combined randomly with the other to form the combined filament yarn which has a rate of weight loss on alkaline treatment satisfying the following: Y=(a)×X; and 1.0<=(a)<=2.0 [(a) is the rate of weight loss on alkaline treatment (%/min), when treated with 3%-alkaline solution; Y is a weight loss percentage (%); and X is a time for the alkaline treatment (min)]. |
