PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous dispersed resin composition having excellent water resistance, weatherability, and pigment dispersibility and suitable for coating materials, a nonaqueous dispersed composition having excellent transparency, adhesion of coating films, a long pot life and suitable for coating materials, its manufacturing method, and a coating material composition. SOLUTION: The nonaqueous dispersed resin composition can be obtained by polymerizing unsaturated monomers comprising a polymerizable unsaturated monomer (a) having a cycloalkyl group, a polymerizable unsaturated monomer (b) having a hydroxyl group, and a polymerizable monomer (c) having a tertiary amino group as the essential components in an organic solvent (A) consisting of an aliphatic hydrocarbon as the major component to synthesize a copolymer (B) soluble in the solvent (A), polymerizing a unsaturated monomer in the presence of the copolymer (B) to synthesize copolymeric particles (C) insoluble in the solvent (A), and dispersing the particles (C) in the reaction system, and the method of manufacturing the same and the coating material composition using the composition are described.
