PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrial robot having improved maintainability and safety by setting whether output is taken or not on respective safety devices when the safety devices are recovered with requiring no initialization for peripheral apparatuses or to prevent a deadlock when inputs and outputs are connected to the safety devices of the plurality of robots. SOLUTION: Whether outputs are taken or not independently of individual safety devices can be set by hardware separately from a portion outputting the inputs from all safety devices to the outside. Above setting is provided with a function by replacing one connector or the like and a function having multiple outputs.
