PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inorganic substance-coated article excellent in interlaminar adherence and weather resistance. SOLUTION: This inorganic substance-coated article is provided by forming an inorganic coating layer on the outermost layer of the substrate through a primer layer; wherein the primer layer is obtained by coating a primer comprising (a) an epoxy compound having >=2 epoxy groups in one molecule, (b) an organosilicon compound having >=2 mercapto groups and >=2 alkoxy groups in one molecule, (c) an organosilicon compound having >=1 amino group and >=2 alkoxy groups in one molecule and (d) an organic solvent, and the inorganic coating layer is obtained by coating silicon alkoxide-based coating agent formulated with a microparticulate zinc oxide as an ultraviolet light absorber.
